2008 Schiller-McCarthy Annual Golf Tournament

Do you believe 2008 marks our 13th year! Mark you calendars now for the 13th annual Schiller-McCarthy Annual Family Golf Tournament to be held on Saturday, November 22nd in Scottsdale, Arizona. Stayed tuned in the coming months for more details such as the golf course (probably Orange Tree again) and hotel location.

Friday Golf

28 golfers started with a bang this morning in georgeous weather (no, not a shotgun start!)... but fun was had by all!

The fun begins!!

Two baking central headquarters were set up yesterday (Thursday) at Caroline Soulliere's and Martha Schiller's. 8 cakes and 6 pans of dream bars later, produced lots of treats for this weekend's activities!

Some Pampering for the Ladies

Complete Manicure/Pedicure appointments will be available for those ladies (and maybe even gents!) on Saturday for the non-golfers who might be interested in a little pampering. The cost is $40 and includes tip. If interested, please call Jackie Rice at either 519-944-0904 or 519-979-7529.

A Masterpiece

So what were we collecting all those pictures for?? Here's a sneak peek at the biggest Schiller-tree undertaking ever! At least the biggest with pictures. It's got over 400 pictures of happy smiling Schiller faces. You'll see the final Masterpiece on Saturday at the reunion.

Friday golf costs

If it hasn't been mentioned already, if you're golfing on Friday at Ambassador the cost is $68.50 per person and includes the cart. Those are Canadian dollars... please bring cash... (easier to collect that way)
Tee times start shortly after 10:30am so arrive in plenty of time.

New Golf Format for Saturday

Change of plans. The golf format at Lakewood Golf Course on Saturday will now be a Shotgun Start at 9am. Please plan on arriving at 8:15am sharp.
Costs: $50 for golf and shared cart, $35 for walking. Please plan on bringing Canadian dollars for all events. It's just too hard to manage an event this size - where money needs to be collected - with credit cards. Please help us out and bring cash.
