267 and counting

The official sign-up sheets for the reunion are pouring in - the current attendance number is 267 as of today! If you still need to sign up (or send in your response form) please do so soon. Many have ask about how payments will be handled. Golf Course fees, shirt costs and both dinners (Friday and Saturday) will be collected same day. A table will be set up at the tent where someone will be collecting and passing out name tags. Please plan on paying in cash (checks and credit cards will be too difficult). Out-of-towners - remember to get some Canadian dollars before you come!

Party Tent!

The party tent has been put up at the Sportsmans where our reunion will be held on August 18th! For those of you out-of-towners (and those not golfing) who want to know what other activities are available during the day, there is a beach directly across the street. Thanks to Anne and Jim Walsh for providing these great pictures!

Crossing the Border

Here are some tips/details you might need if you'll be coming to Canada in August and are not familiar with border crossing requirements.

Crossing by automobile requires two pieces of identification for every person in the vehicle. Acceptable forms of ID are: original birth certificates with raised seal, drivers license, state identification card, or passport. If a minor child is riding in a car with anyone other than his/her parents or guardian the adult must be carrying a letter of authorization for the child, stating who/what/where/how long/contact number/etc.

The vehicle paperwork, such as registration, insurance, rental forms, etc. must be current and in the vehicle. Anticipate that the auto can be searched, any packages can be opened, gifts unwrapped, no weapons, and no criminal backgrounds will be let through unless pre-authorized.
